Oh my what a day.  First we took Laney and the puppies to the vet for their checkups.  Everyone is healthy and strong.  My vet was over booked when I got there.  We were there way to long for Laney.  She just wanted to be with her babies.  Justin took her for a walk while I was inside waiting.  I watched her go with her head turned towards the door.  By the time we all got home, the puppies ate and they all crashed.  Laney was very tired as well from the whole experience.  Bless her heart for being so patient.

On the way home, I got a call that ClasSea Soul of Sailor "Wade" won Winners Dog honors at the PWDCGC Regional Specialty at the International Kennel Club cluster in Chicago.  This was a 4 point major giving Wade 11 total points and both majors completed towards his AKC championship.  I am just thrilled.  I only wish I could have been there this year. 

Wait there is more, Dustin calls and tells me that team OreoBay ClasSea Wild Ride "Malibu"/Dustin completed her Rally Novice title.  Congratulations to a wonderful team.

I am so very proud of both of these puppies out of Laney's first litter.

2-26-10

Brody x Laney Litter Puppies are here.  They started to arrive at 2:10 AM with the last being born at 5:25 AM.  Laney had 10 beautiful puppies.  Five of each in order of boy, girl, boy, girl all the way to 10.  They are all wavy with white markings.  Laney is very happy to be able to snuggle with her babies.  Instead of starring into the pen for hours, I should be sleeping.  It has been a few long nights here.  Look for more updates soon.
