Week of 10-16-06
What a wonderful time I had at my first National Specialty.
All the events were perfectly timed. I never felt I was
to over rushed. It was nice to see all the beautiful PWD's.
Laney and I arrived on Saturday. The week went very fast
as I was with OreoBay and Casa Hoya's. Between the two of
them we had 11 dogs there.
The burning question. How did we do? Well in order of

5-1-06
OreoBay Livin'
On Easy Street "Laney" just finished basic obedience
at
Joshica's
Planet Canine. She did a wonderful job.

4-14-06
I entered Laney in a Puppy Match in Crown Point, IN.
Today is going to be our first time in the ring. Despite
being really nervous, Laney took a group 4 and BOB. Yeah
Laney.

1-21-06
Wow what a month. I have been busy training.
OreoBay Livin'
On Easy Street "Laney" loves to please which makes training
easy. This week Laney will start puppy socialization class.
She already knows her sits, downs, comes, and can ring the
bell to go outside. I think she will do just fine. She is
13 weeks today and weighs 17.0 lbs. The whole family just
adores her.

12-23-05
Last night was
OreoBay Livin'
On Easy Street "Laney's" planned coming home. She got
a bath and a Lion cut. She has the cutest little butt. Dixie
"MOM" cleaned Laney and kissed her good-bye. She kissed
me after a long look. She made my cry. It was really an
emotional moment. I do believe she knew that one more of
her babies was leaving. I received her blessing. Thanks
Dixie.
The trip started out w/ crying which quickly went away
once I realized that she had an accident in her crate. Learning
her language is definitely going to be part of our getting
to know one another.
Laney slept most of the night in her crate with a little
whine to get out at 3:15 a.m. She did her business outside
and right back to bed. Thanks to Nigel taking the time to
crate train.
Today was adventurous. We visited work, the vet, went
shopping and met a lot of people. Not to mention Laney and
Gandalf had some quality hang out time. He is already being
a big brother to her. She is adjusting wonderfully. The
whole family loves her.
I have puppy prints on my heart. She is my "baby girl".

12-17-05
I have been blessed to have been given the opportunity
to watch OreoBay
Livin' On Easy Street "Laney" grow since her birth.
Last night I spent some quality one on one time with my
Laney Bug. We played until we both we tired. She has grown
a lot. A date has been set for her arrival to leave her
home at OreoBay and come home to live with us. 12-22-05.
The whole family is so looking forward to her home coming.
Stay tuned for updates. This first year is going to be full
of lots of adventures.
