the three legs needed to become a Champion. Big sister OreoBay
EZ Like Sunday Morning "Sadie" owner handled for one leg.
Way to go Dustin and Marcia for working with your dogs this

Show.
Way to go to all the Brutus x Dixie babies.

OreoBay Livin'
On Easy Street "Laney" won winners bitch in Wheaton,
IL today.
Little brother OreoBay The Secret of Drambuie "Sailor"
is very impressive in the ring. For a puppy it is nice to
see him in his stack. He is yet to break it. Wow...His big
sisters don't even do that yet. He stills has a lot of fun
in the ring on the go around. He wants to eat his lead.
:) This boy is beautiful male with a great show career ahead.

Today we said good-bye to "MC" Junior (short for Monaco
Coach Junior). My boys named him after I brought him home
from work 4 years ago. Just a kitten when I found him at
my car. He had a 104 temp when I got him to the vet. His
foot was mangled and he had a broken collar bone. My heart
went out to this boy. Junior had his paw removed shortly
afterwards.
At 25 lbs and orange, he looked like Garfield. I think
the collar bone injury inhibited his moving around thus
how he acquired the kidney problems. I decided 4 months
ago that he shouldn't suffer anymore. We decided to try
some more treatments again.
The last few days he was moving less and less. I didn't
want him to be in pain like times before. The tough choice
had to be made. Maybe he knew it was going to be better
soon as he didn't fuss at the vets. He was happy. Junior
was purring and wavy his tail until the end. My heart feels
broken right now. I am just thankful our vet could give
him a peaceful ending. I know the alternative could have
been worse.
He was part of our family and he will be missed greatly.

What a wonderful weekend Nigel, Nick, and myself had
in Centreville, MI for the All American Bull Dog Club UKC
shows. There were well over 100 dogs entered in each show.
In Junior Open class Nick showed OreoBay Ready to Run
"Dixie" for 3rd place in all 4 shows. He is a
joy to watch when he is on his game.
Nick also did well with Kylie in the breed ring out of
the GR CH class. They earned a Group 3 win. Nick and Kylie
are very in tune with one another. It's easy to see the
connection between this pair by everyone outside the ring.
Way to go Nick.
I am proud to announce that
OreoBay Livin' On Easy Street "Laney" finished her Grand
Championship with her favorite handler-breeder/owner Nigel.
They also took an impressive Group 1 and were seriously
considered for RBIS. Wow it was close. I was holding my
breath as the judge kept looking back at Laney and Nigel
many times. The judge stated, this is a tough group and
I would agree. I am enclosing a picture. Laney makes
the 6th PWD to GRCH in UKC.
OK, Here is the best news IMO.
Deewal Oreo Speedwagon Aries "Oreo" who just celebrated
his 7th birthday proved he still has what it
takes to compete in the ring. Nigel has done her work on
trimming this boy down and it paid off. I showed Oreo this
weekend to a Group 4 and a Group 2 win. Every judge expressed
how solid, lovely, great mover, and nice muscle he has.
With every compliment he received, our smile would get bigger.
All the dogs received compliments from all the judges. It
just seemed very special to hear Oreo's name in the mix
of all the younger show dogs entered this weekend. Way to
go Oreo and thanks Nigel for letting me show him.
Momma Dixie did take reserve in one show to Laney. Although
she didn't take breed, I have to say she is the "showiest"
of them all. In all the shows including juniors she moved
beautifully, self stacked nicely, and held it together through
all that was asked of her.
I am proud of them all.

Winners Bitch.

This has been one of those weeks where I truly feel blessed.
I returned home Wednesday after a short stay in the hospital
with planned 6 weeks of absence from work. I slept for two
days with my loyal male
OreoBay Rockhill's
Beach Boy "Johnnie" right by my side. He continues to
watch over me. Johnnie has a true working drive and to think
he has been so patient for me to take him out to play. Today
we went outside for a few throws of the ball and back to
bed. What an awesome dog.
Team OreoBay
Livin' On Easy Street "Laney" and breeder Nigel Clark
took a Group 3 in the BBE show last Thursday.
Laney and Johnnie have proven that even a working dog
can slow down to be my their master's side in a time of
need. Like I said, I am blessed. Thanks Nigel for the worlds
two perfect dogs. Just my opinion of course. :)

8-2-07
At a one day show in Marshall, MI,

These boys impress me every time they go in the ring. Showing
improvement with each show. Congratulations to our Juniors.
Today OreoBay
Rockhill's Beach Boy "Johnnie" won two more legs towards
his Grand Championship in UKC. Winning Best of Breed and
a Group 4 placement for both shows.

to people and really put all the advice he received to work
on Sunday. Sunday Travis won 1st in both shows. I am so
proud of him. The judges commented on his great questions
and how he improved from Saturday to Sunday.

Auburn AKC show. Saturday she won Winners Bitch out of the
Bred By Exhibitor class. Shown by breeder/handler Nigel
Clark. They do make a great team.

2-27-07
Attended the IKC show in Chicago over the weekend. On
Saturday, OreoBay
Livin' On Easy Street "Laney" won her class. She is
being shown in Breed By Exhibitor. As always Laney's breeder
Nigel Clark showed her beautifully.
Friday by mistake my bag with all my money and credit
cards was left outside my truck while loading up for the
evening. After a night of no sleep, I returned to the show
on Saturday after having to borrow money for parking. To
my surprise my bag had been turned in by a fellow dog show
person. Thanks goes out to Paula Henson who was showing
her Brussels Griffons! :) Dog people are the best.
I also learned a lot about grooming from fellow Portuguese
Water Dog breeders. Thanks to all who are allowing me to
learn from them.
Saturday was a supported entry by my club -
PWDCGC.
What a great turn out we had by all the spectators who stopped
by to ask questions and admire our lovely breed.

2-19-07
What an exciting weekend in Kalamazoo.
