It has been awhile since I posted to my news.  News from the Ft. Wayne cluster earlier this month.  ClasSea No Autographs Please "Holly" won Reserve from the open class with handler Howie Huber III and Reserve from the Bred By Exhibitor class.  No points this weekend.  We did however pull off Best Bred By and a chance to show off in the Group ring.  Check out Holly on the move and in BBE Group.  She is still young and soon she will be ready to compete.  We are off to our next show in a week. 

ClasSea's Celebrate In Style "Alby" joined us from Cincinnati, OH.  He competed with his Mom in the puppy match and won Best of Breed.  He did very well for his first show at only 4 months old.  Congratulations to Susan and DIL Annie.  :)

ClasSea's Celebrate Forever "Zaia" tagged along with me.  She handled herself very well.  From crate time to the hotel, I couldn't have asked of more from her.

The Puppies are Here! I would like to welcome 6 new puppies to the family. Proud parents are AKC GRCH UKC MBIS GRCH OreoBay The Secret Of Drambuie "Sailor" and AKC CH ClasSea Spirit Of A Storm "Hailey".  4 girls and 2 boys. Three of the puppies are curly.  This is Hailey's 1st litter.  Our road was rocky to start.  In the end, Hailey needed a C-Section.  2 puppies were trying to get out at the same time.  Mom and pups are all doing well.  Weights on this litter are amazing.  Good job Hailey.  Since this litter came so fast, they are numbered girls then boys.  :)

Well it is week 4 for the Jax x Laney Litter Puppies.  They are moving around well and all are in good health and weight.  I love this week.  They are very playful and their teeth are not fully in.

The Puppies are Here. I would like to welcome 8 new puppies to the family. Proud parents are AKC CH Pouch Cove's Freedom Reigns "Jax" and AKC CH & UKC GRCH OreoBay Livin' on Easy Street JWD, CGC "Laney".  5 boys and 3 girls. Three of the boys are curly with the rest wavy. This is Laney's 3rd and last litter.  She has settled in and is once again proving what a wonderful Mom she can be.  We are very proud of her.

Patriot's Game On at ClasSea "Beckham" won Best of Winners honors 3 days in a row at the Kalamazoo, MI shows.  I am happy to report that Beckham is now 1 pt away from being an AKC Champion.  Thanks to Lisa Arnett and Howie Huber for being such great friends.  Lisa helped with leg grooming and Howie helped snap some pretty pictures of Beckham.  He just turned 14 months old and looking more like an adult.  Oh they grow up so fast.

News from the Terre Haute, IN shows!  ClasSea No Autographs Please "Holly" won Winners Bitch honors on Sunday under Judge Judith Goodin with me showing her.  Despite all the bad weather and not being able to run around any, she did wonderful through all the crate time, grooming, and even showing.  We are very proud of our girl.  Go Holly.  On Friday she won Reserve Winners to sister OreoBay ClasSea Wild Ride "Malibu" for a major.  Malibu needs just a few more points and she will be the 4th AKC Champion for us.

Patriot's Game On at ClasSea "Beckham" won Best of Winners honors on Saturday and Sunday at the Crown Point, IN shows.  He now has 11 points towards his AKC Championship at only 12 months old.  I am very proud of my boy.

We went with our friend Pam.  I also showed her girl Mona.  She won reserve honors on Saturday.  Mona is a very happy girl with a bright future ahead of her.   Looking forward to next weekend when we do it all again at the Terre Haute, IN shows.

Patriot's Game On at ClasSea "Beckham" and I went to stay with Brody x Laney puppy Clooney for the weekend.  Vera has done a wonderful job with this boy.  He is a very happy 13 month old with a beautiful personality.  Thanks Vera and Charlie for the wonderful weekend.

Beckham was entered in the Novi, MI shows.  Although we didn't come home with any points, I had a wonderful time with all my Michigan friends.  Here is hoping we do it again soon.

First, a very special Happy 1st Birthday to Brody x Laney puppies .  Enzo, Holly, Scribbles, Dharma, Wrigley, Molly, Clooney, Lucy, Jackson, and Rookie!  We love all the owners who love and cherish our dogs.

Second, my son receives his Rookie of the year and 8th in points trophy at the race banquet.  I am very proud of all his hard work.  He started this journey at age 16 and now at the age of 18 and a senior in High School watching his dream become a reality is priceless for a mother.  :)

Third Big show news,  International Kennel Club of Chicago proved to be an amazing ride.  It was great to see everyone and meeting new people who share in this love for the breed.  It was nice to have Roy and Barbara Cawley there to share in this special day.  The 2nd PWDCGC Regional Specialty under Judge Paula Nykiel, house mates ClasSea Spirit Of A Storm "Hailey" and Patriot's Game On at ClasSea "Beckham" both earn 5 point majors.  Beckham was owner handled to Best of Winners/Best Puppy.  Breeder/co-owner Kathy Maguire was just thrilled when I called her with the news.  Then Hailey won Winners Bitch honors and now is a New AKC Champion.  Hailey was professionally handled by Howard Huber, Jr.  A very special thanks out to Howie for presenting Hailey so beautifully.  You two made a great team.  The best part of the day was to be in the ring with both my dogs.  Priceless.

Sister to Hailey, OreoBay ClasSea Wild Ride "Malibu" was owner handled by Dustin Coleman to Reserve Winners Bitch.  What a thrill to have littermates place Winners and Reserve.  I am so proud of Dustin for showing her so well.

Last year while home whelping the Brody x Laney puppies, Lisa Arnett showed Hailey's brother ClasSea Soul of Sailor Oreobay "Wade" to Winners Dog for a 4pt major at the Regional.  Howard Huber III and Lisa Arnett shared in finishing Hailey.  These two are a great team.

Check out the pictures I had snapped of Patriot's Game On at ClasSea "Beckham".  The first one was done at the Cleveland, OH shows with sister Me Me.  The pups were 8 1/2 months old.  The second one was done at the Novi, MI shows.  Beckham was 4 days shy 10 months old.  We are off to Chicago for the PWDCGC Regional Specialty that is being held at the McCormick place for the IKC cluster.  ClasSea Spirit Of A Storm "Hailey" is already there with Howard Huber III.  Good luck to all.

What a great birthday I had this year.  I celebrated with some wonderful dog people from the Michigan area while attending the Novi, MI shows.  Special thanks to all involved in making 40 feel so special.  Check out the Cake that was made for Kathy Maguire and I. 

Patriot's Game On at ClasSea "Beckham" had a great showing.  Winning Reserve honors all days.  On Friday, Beckham was Best Puppy In Breed by default.  A very nice lineup indeed in the Puppy In Show competition.  Although we didn't make the ribbons, we were pulled out for consideration.  He makes my heart go Pitter Patter.  :)

While in Michigan, I spent some time catching up with Rookie's (Brody x Laney) Mom Sue!  Rookie is very much loved and has learned a lot of great tricks.  Great job Sue.

News from the Florida circuit shows!  OreoBay Rockhill's Beach Boy "Johnnie's"  x Kimlyn Fifth Avenue daughter Macy finishes her AKC Championship in style winning back to back 5 pt. majors on Thursday and Friday.  Then to top the week off great, she finished her AKC Grand Championship.  Very impressive finish to both in one weeks time.  Congratulations to breeder Pam Miller and owner Chris Sergent.  We are so very proud of her.  Here is her Grand Championship photo.  For more information on Macy visit www.millcrestpwds.com.
